Monday: Meet the animals of Heart and Soil Ridge! Get an up close look and feel of these amazing critters who call the farm home while learning new and interesting facts, and helping with feeding and watering. You can even try your hand at milking one of the goats, catching a chicken, and collecting eggs! The day will be immersed with activities, stories, animals care, and free-play times.

Tuesday: Today we will make our way through the fields to meet our cattle and horses. Learn about grazing techniques and moving fences, safety rules for interacting with large animals, and more. We will groom horses, and learn how to connect with these fascinating creatures!

Wednesday: Soil-health guru Farmer Lance will introduce you to our “underground herd” (the microbes, insects, and fungi that make everything happen on the farm), lead activities on the power of observation in farming, and teach about the amazing benefits of farming regeneratively. Later on, you get the chance to meet our bees, and safely observe our hives in action.

Thursday: Work together with other campers to create our own pop-up farmers market to share with parents and friends at the end of the day. Get a sense of what it feels like to market farm products and prepare for the market. We will sell eggs, flowers, and other farm products to close out our camp week, and just as in the real-world, campers will get a share in the profits.
